Hillebrand Center at Notre Dame
Seeks to provide a solid foundation in compassionate care and medical interpersonal skills through specially designed course work for pre-professional students before they go on to pursue graduate medical training. Additionally, the center conducts research in the science of compassionate care, networks with local and national organizations to foster compassionate care in medicine, and provides continuing education opportunities to practicing physicians, nurses, and other professionals supporting caring practice in the helping professions.
Vision
Training the physician/ clinician mind for optimal compassionate and competent clinical performance using the new science of compassion.
